During the COVID season of 2020-2021, when the club was unable to run most of its bonspiels, the club established the FWCC Club Championship mini-spiel. This event now runs annually to identify the championship team at the club.
The Club Championship is run near the end of the curling season and allows any team that played in any league during the fall or winter season to compete to be named the Club Champions. Teams must retain 51% of their league roster (3 of 4 players for a 4 person team and 2 of 3 players for a 3 player team). Any other dues-paying club member can be added to a team to replace a league team member that cannot participate in the club championship.
