The End of Summerspiel is the Fort Wayne Curling Club's season opening bonspiel. The spiel is typically scheduled on the weekend before or after the autumnal equinox (September 21). Because most curling club's do not yet have ice, this bonspiel is always well attended. Additionally, the weather is typically very pleasant and the club has significant property for socialization outside.
